Harman III, George Alvis

George Alvis Harman, III, 52 of Floyd, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013. He loved his family, to hunt deer, and to trout fish. He came to love all of the friends at New Hope Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Tanya; step-son, Cory Ratcliffe and his wife Samantha; and grandson, Ty. Also surviving are his sisters, Darla Smith & David Hatcher, Carol Huffman & Pat; brother, Floyd Harman, Sr. & Anita; nieces and nephews, Victor, Austin, and Taylor Huffman, Floyd Harman, Jr. and wife Erin, Ashley Anielski, John Robert Anielski, and Dakota Harman; great-nieces and great-nephew, Haylie, Kelly, Hunter & Emily Harman. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Bond and Associate Pastor Jamie Cooper officiating. Interment to follow in the Pine Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the funeral home.
