Harman, Edna Dickerson

Edna Dickerson Harman, 89, of Floyd, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Harman, two sons-in-law, Gary Bowling and Eugene Huff, and two sisters, Reva Graham and Juanita Cumberland.

Surviving are four daughters, Barbara Harman, Christiansburg, Ralphelene Huff, Floyd, Joyce Bowling, Ferrum, Sue Abshire, Floyd; one sister, Verbena Walters; brother-in-law and spouse, Jack and Margaret Harman; sisters-in-law and spouses, Lillie and Bob Keifer, Frances and Richard Leidy, Peggy Brown; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, five step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2008 at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, Floyd, Va. with the Reverend Marvin Wade and the Reverend Richard Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Beaver Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren. Arrangements are being handled by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd.
