Dwayne Lee Harman, age 51, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020, at the Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA. Born October 18, 1969, in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of Barry L. Harman of Ballard, WV, and the late Sherri Shultz.

Dwayne worked in construction, installing epoxy flooring. He was a 1988 graduate of Narrows High School. He loved music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed sports, especially football.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Harman. In addition to his father and step-mother, Debra Harman, survivors include three daughters, Shaina East of Pearisburg, VA, Megan Harman of Narrows, VA, and Madison Harman of Ballard, WV; two brothers, Shannon Harman and wife Leann of Narrows, VA, and Kelly Johnson and wife Tara of Ballard, WV; two sisters, Kristie Dobbins and husband Andrew of Lindside, WV, and Michelle Johnson of Ballard, WV; twelve nieces and nephews, and eleven great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Minister Terry Kornegay officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek, VA. Visitation will be from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at the funeral Home.

Due to the regulations associated with COVID-19 and the WV Governor’s Mandate, those attending the visitation and funeral services shall wear a mask and practice social distancing.
