Harman, Betty Lester

Betty Lester Harman, 86, of Radford, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015. She was a member of Grove United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Harman; parents, Peyton and Annie Lester; brothers, Lawrence Lester and wife, Margaret and daughter, Beverly; Basil Lester and wife Gertrude, Olen Lester, and Mac Lester and wife June, and daughter Carrie; sister, Jada Lester Bratton and son Richard.

Betty’s loving family includes her daughters and son-in-law, Ann and Tracy Howard, and Susan Reece; grandchildren and their spouses, Amanda and Aaron Copeland, Brendan Howard, Daley Howard, and Dustin and Jenna Reece; great grandchildren, Graham and Judd Copeland, Jackson Howard, and Harper Grace Reece; nieces and nephews, Ted and Karen Bratton, John and Debbie Bratton, Mike and Mary Lester, Pat and Shirley Lester, Dean Lester, Sara and Martin Sloan, Connie and Victor Rodkey, Sue and Buddy Cox and Marilyn Sue and Jimmy Blackwood; and many more special friends and family.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 noon on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Grove United Methodist Church in Radford. Memorial services will follow at 12 noon with Rev. Aaron Pierce officiating.
