Harlow, Edythe Howlett
Edythe Howlett Harlow, of Pulaski County, died Monday July 9, 2013 in Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin. She was born in West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Bertie Burnette Howlett and Marcus Howlett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter O. Harlow, two sisters, Gladys Quesenberry and Mae Whitt, along with a niece, Brenda Whitt.
She is survived by a daughter, Elaine H. Kennedy of Richmond, and a son, Walter Wayne Harlow and his wife Brenda of Chester; a sister, Loveleen Turner of Orange Park, FL; two grandchildren, Kurt Harlow of Linenhurst, NY, and Kevin Harlow and his wife Cherie of Roanoke, along with three great-great grandchildren; Colin Harlow, Jacob Harlow, and Avery Harlow. A very special surviving family is considered to be the entire staff of Highland Ridge Rehabilition Center. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Mausoleum Chapel at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin with the Rev. Ruthanne Henley (minister of Draper United Methodist Church), officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
