Hargis, Shirley Barnett

Shirley Barnett Hargis, 59, of Madison Heights, Va. passed away Friday, October 19, 2007 in Lynchburg General Hospital.

The daughter of the late David C. and Bertha C. Barnett, she was also preceded by a brother, Larry Barnett. She is survived by her husband, William H. Hargis, Madison Heights; a daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and James Lane; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Kenneth Lawson, Joyce and Wayne Linkous; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles Barnett, David and Joyce Barnett, all of Christiansburg.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2007 at the graveside in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, Va.
