Nedra Tabor Hare, 66, of Pulaski, Va., passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019, in Carilion NRV Medical Center, Christiansburg, Va., after a courageous five-year battle with multiple myeloma.

She lived in Pulaski County, Va., her entire life and was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Hare; and her parents, Navy Joseph Tabor and Hazel Cox Tabor.

Surviving are a devoted son, Barry (Chuck) Underwood; beloved step-daughter, Leigh Blankenship and husband, Chucky; step-son, Jason Hare; granddaughters that she adored, Graison Blankenship and Rachel Blankenship; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Jerry Puckett; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Brenda Tabor and Joe and Regina Tabor, and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved.

The family would like to express gratitude to the comfort care staff at Carilion Medical Center, to her close friends, and to her former co-workers at Pulaski County Social Services for their visits, love and support during her struggle with this disease. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1046, Dublin, VA 24084 or to the charity of your choice.

The family is receiving friends at Stevens Funeral Home Saturday, March 30, 9:30-11 a.m. A memorial service follows at 11, with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating.
