Hardwicke, Margaret Janie

Margaret Janie Hardwicke, 99 of Dublin, Va. passed away Monday afternoon November 14, 2016 from the Highland Ridge Rehab Center, Dublin. She was born in Pulaski County on November 24, 1916 and was the daughter of the late Samuel E. Hardwicke and Alma Wygal Hardwicke.

She was a registered nurse and was a former elementary school teacher and was a member of the Dublin United Methodist Church.

Surviving are: niece, Susan Martin; two nephews, Robert Danford and James Hardwicke; special guardian and caregiver, Barbara Duncan; and her Dublin United Methodist Church family.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. held Friday, November 18, 2016 from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Burial will follow in the Dublin Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m. until the service hour from the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to the Dublin United Methodist Church.
