amem_fisherman.jpgMarvin Lewis Hancock, 54, of Pulaski, Va., won his battle over cancer and quietly went from his earthly home to his Heavenly home Wednesday, February 3, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Ralph (Buster) Hancock; his mother, Annabel Virginia Hancock; and his father-in-law, Ivan Joe Stilwell.

Surviving are wife, Jean Stilwell Hancock; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Barbara Hacock; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Roger Long, Brenda and David Gravely, Ellen May and Roger Bond, Marie and Kenneth McGrady and Kathy and Joe Davis; special mother-in-law, Edna Stilwell; many nieces and nephews. He also will be loved and missed by special Buckner family and many, many friends and racing buddies.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016, from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Buckner officiating. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until the service hour Friday at the funeral home.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Kimberly Jones Memorial, 902 Dundee Drive, Radford, VA 24141.
