Hamblin, Hazel Betty Richardson

Hazel Betty Richardson Hamblin, 81, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008.

Born July 4, 1926, she worked at Burlington Industries for over 30 years. Prior to that she had worked at Christiansburg High School, with her husband, and at Radford Arsenal during World War II.

Mrs. Hamblin was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd H. Hamblin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Johnnie Frazier, of Pembroke; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Sandra Bragg, of Shawsville; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Robert Van Natta, of Newport News; eight grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Service. A graveside will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2008, in Sunset Cemetery.
