Halsey, Janie Roberts

Janie Roberts Halsey, age 67, of Dublin, VA died, Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Smith Co, VA on December 30, 1950 to the late Earnest and Mandy Armstrong Roberts. Also preceded in death by a daughter, Lillie Lindsey; granddaughter, Samantha Rentch; and several other family members.

She is survived by her lifetime companion, Bobby Eugene Montgomery; daughters and son-in-law, Treca Anders, Freda and Timmy Comer; grandchildren, Tony Anders, William Rentch, Shasta Hall, Stephanie Stuart and husband, Reggy, Zachary Lindsey, Joshua Comer, sisters, Wanda Allen, Brenda Altizer, Dorothy Darr, Mary King, step-children, Joanne Gravley and her children, Ashley and Joey, David Montgomery, Sandra and Bobby Dalton and their children, Tyler, Carly and Shaye; several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
