hall_ralph_eugeneRalph Eugene Hall, 58, of 624 Walnut Ave., Pulaski, Va., passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011. He was born on August 4, 1952, in Wytheville, to the late Oakley Edward Hall Sr. and Elvira B. Hall. He served his country in the Marines in 1970 to 1971 and was given an honorable medical discharge. He worked his whole life and retired from the Nehi Bottling Company. He was preceded in death by a wife and eight month old son in 1972; brothers, Oakley Edward Hall Jr., and Paul David Hall; and sisters, Nancy C. Brown and Mary Ellen Hall. Surviving to cherish his memory are his sons, Brandon William Taylor Musick, mother of child, Brenda Lee Taylor, of Pulaski; and Samual Lawrence Taylor Musick, mother of child, Melinda Gail Musick, of Pulaski; sisters, Sue Mae Staton and husband, David Staton, of North Carolina, Tara Donovan and son, Jackson, both of Knoxville, Tenn., and Phyllis Hall, of Roanoke; also several nieces and nephews. Ralph died peacefully at home. He was a remarkable person, a wonderful father, brother, son and friend. He took care of everyone he loved. He will be missed by all who loved him. Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marcus Harrison officiating.
