Hall, Nicky Lane

Nicky Lane Hall, 55, of Radford, passed away at his home on January 4, 2014. Nicky was born on March 9, 1958 to the late Ralph Shannon and Mildred Ethelyne Hall.

Nicky graduated from Radford High School in 1977 and for 15 years was an employee of Radford University where he worked in the building and grounds department.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Dale Hall; his grandparents, Emmett and Grace Alderman and Otto and Lola Hall. He is survived by his brother, Robin Hall, his wife Robin, and daughter Whitney; his aunt and uncle, Edith and Woodie Bowman; and nephew, Derek Hall.

The family would like to thank his close friends and caregivers, Kenny Bobbitt and Shirley Trusler, Drs. March, Conatser, Downing and their staffs, and the Radford Transit and the drivers that all gave their help, comfort, and support during Nicky’s illness.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Home on Tuesday January 7, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Paul Lane officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
