George Curtis Hall Jr., 70, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at his home in Pilot, Va. He was born and raised in Craig County and was the son of the late Curtis Hall and Blanche Hall Combs.

But most of all, he was a caring and committed friend who was always there when you needed a helping hand.

He leaves behind his mother, Blanche Combs; his wife and best friend of 31 years, Sharon Morley; his son and daughter-in-law Steven and Crystal Hall; daughter and son-in-law Melissa and James Gallihar; daughter and son Erika and Ryan Johnson. His cherished grandchildren Tristan and Chloe Johnson-Hodges; Greta and Annilise Johnson; Anngel, Rachel and Lydia Gallihar; Jeffrey and Jessica Hall; and great- grandson Talon Hall. Brothers and sisters-in-law Gary and Mary Jayne Hall; Perry and Teresa Hall; and sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Bob Schidle; and numerous nieces and nephews. And a very special friend Angelle Turner.

A graveside service was held on December 3, 2016 at his tree farm in Craig County. A very special thank you to Pastor Leon Alley for officiating.
