Hall, Helen Harmon

Helen Harmon (Pat) Hall, 76, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008 at her home in Radford, Va. She was a loving wife, mother and “Granny” and will be deeply missed by family and friends. She was born on July 24, 1932, at Sweet Chalybeate, a daughter of the late Henry Harmon and Sibyl Harmon. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry O. Harmon; and sisters, Margaret Walker, Julia Boone, and Rosalie Harmon. Pat is survived by her husband, Charlie Preston Hall, of Radford; children, Patty Turner Simerly (Mrs. Ernie), of Pearisburg, William (Bill) Turner Jr., of Radford, and Bobby Turner, of Eggleston; grandchildren, Willie Moses III, Angela L. Stephens, Jennifer Turner, Matthew Turner and Jamie Turner; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack (Joyce) Harmon, of Sweet Chalybeate; and nieces, Linda Simmons (Mrs. Rob), of Covington, Judy Helms (Mrs. Bill), of Augusta, Ga., and Tracie Cochran (Mrs. Charlie), of Sweet Chalybeate. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2008, at the Mullins Funeral home in Radford with the Rev. Jonathon Webster officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. prior to the service on Monday.
