Hall, Hazel Huletta

Hazel Huletta Hall, age 82, formerly of Rich Creek, VA, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Highland Ridge Rehab Center in Dublin, VA. Born September 4, 1936, in Meade, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alex F. and Sallie Staton Wilson.

Hazel attended Jesus Life Ministries in Wilkesboro, NC, and worked as a nurse at the Roanoke Community Hospital for over 30 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Curtis Hall; three brothers, John Franklin Wilson, James Edward Wilson, and Alex Franklin “Jay” Wilson; one sister, Margaret Frazier; and one daughter-in-law, Gail Myers. Survivors include three sons, William A. Myers and wife Debbie of Millers Creek, NC, Dewayne F. Myers and wife Sandra, and Darrell M. Myers, all of Narrows, VA; one daughter, Cherokee Myers Golembiewski and husband Mike of Narrows, VA; three sisters, Beatrice Celozzi of Rural Retreat, VA, Delores Wilkinson of Forest Hill, WV, and Aletta Allen and husband Albert of Rich Creek, VA; and numerous grand-, great grand-, and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 3, 2018, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Kevin Brinegar officiating. Burial will follow at the Wilson Family Cemetery in Staffordsville, VA. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at the funeral home.
