Hall, Burleigh Richard

Burleigh Richard Hall, 88, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at his home in Snowville, Va. He was a retired sheet metal department supervisor from RAAP after 28 years of service. He was a well known brick mason as well as a gifted musician and a crafter of musical instruments.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Alma O’Dell Hall; four sons and daughters-in-law, Richard “Dell” and Gail Hall, of Georgetown, Ohio, Kelly Duane and Charlotte Hall, of Pulaski, Tommy and Jeanette Hall, of Dublin, and Adrian and Tina Hall, of Hiwassee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Don Gridley, of Max Meadows, and Maxine and Roger Lyons, of Newbern; three sisters, Oneva Brown and Joretta Lawrence, both of Salem, and Gypsia Farmer, of Pulaski; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2009, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Elder Don Singleton and Mr. Rudolph Shelburne officiating. Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery in Pulaski County. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 5 until 8 p.m.
