Alma Claudine Hager Hale, 87 of Narrows went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 17th, 2017.

A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on July 28th, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Lake and Elsie Mae Burton Hager. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death her husband, Hubert Hale; and two sisters, Cleatis Burton and Dorothy Perdue.

Alma enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Left to cherish her memory are a brother, Edison Hager and wife Carol of Rich Creek; a sister, Katherine Bowles of Roanoke; a special niece, Mae Sue Blankenship of Narrows; a special nephew and best friend, Alvie Hale of Narrows; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in the Wolf Creek Community near Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Chapel Tuesday from 12 noon until just prior to the service.
