Hagerman, Wanda Dean

Wanda Cecilia Dean Hagerman, 76 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, VA. Wanda was born on June 22, 1945, in Washington, D.C. and was a daughter of the late Ralph Matthew Dean and Esther Beach Dean.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, J.B. Hagerman, a son, David Hagerman, granddaughter, Kelly Hagerman, three brothers, Chet Dean, Billy Dean, Thomas Dean and a sister, Deborah Tennant.

Wanda was a member of the Wayside Mission Church in Narrows. Her passion was floral design and retired after 30 years of service. She loved spending time with her family and church family.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Hagerman (Rita) of Narrows, Jimmy Hagerman of Bishop, VA, grandchildren, Brittany, Branden, Gavin, Jeremy Hagerman (Abby), Amanda Moore (Tyler) and great grandchildren, Miles Hagerman, Zamariah and Zalakhi Madison, Rhett Moore and her siblings, Donald Dean, Matthew Dean, Jr, Drew Dean, Dora Hamm, Patsy Puckett, Jerry Dean, Brenda Davis and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 20, 2022, at 11am at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows with Pastor Kevin Weaver, Pastor Lawrence Hayes and Pastor Jerry Hagerman officiating with burial following in the Grandview Cemetery in Bluefield, VA.
