Haga, Joseph Rangley

Joseph Rangley Haga, 24, of Christiansburg, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011. Born and raised in Christiansburg, Joe graduated from Christiansburg High School in 2005 where he was exceptional athletically and with people. Joe was loved by all who came to know him and always made people smile. Joe will be greatly missed. Joe is survived by his loving parents, Karen and Steve Haga, of Christiansburg; his oldest brother, Don and his wife, Kristen, of Austin, Texas; his older sister, Sheila Ungerer and her husband, Scott, of Indianapolis, Ind.; his older brother Matt, of Richmond, Va.; and many extended relatives including his grandparents, Don and Barbara Haga, of Roanoke, Va., and Beverly and Cecil Woolwine, of Christiansburg. Joe will be remembered for his remarkable ability to connect with people and treat others as he wished to be treated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg. The Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2011, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Special Olympics, P.O.
