Gwynn, Alice Farley

Alice Farley Gwynn, 42, of Dublin, Va., loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Her passing will leave a great void in the lives of those who knew her, but they can hopefully find solace in the memories of her kind and caring nature.

Alice is survived by her two children, Sarah and Jon Gwynn; her mother, Stella Cregger Farley; two sisters, Becky Farley and Jeanne and Michael Ray; in-laws, Harry and Sharon Gunter; and companion, Russ Marando. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Farley; and brother, Tony Farley.

Sarah would like to share the following words, “You may be gone here on Earth, but you remain with Jon and me in our hearts every second of the day. We will meet you again one day. Our love will remain strong. We love you.”

Graveside Services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, December 27, 2010, in the Shiloh Cemetery with the Rev. Harry Gunter officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery after the service.

Flowers will be appreciated, but the family wishes memorials to be sent to Stevens Funeral Home, P.O. Box 342, Pulaski, Va., 24301, to help the children with expenses.
