Guynn, Sr., Myron Delbert

Myron Delbert Guynn, Sr., age 93, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at his home in Rich Creek, VA. Born April 15, 1926, in Rich Creek, VA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Annie E. Harvey Guynn. He was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran. Myron was a kind and easy-going man; he was gentle, funny, and loved to laugh and joke around. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved and cared deeply for his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mabel Thompson Guynn. Additionally, he was the last surviving member of his immediate family, as he was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, M.D. Guynn, Jr. and wife Theresa of Rich Creek, VA, and Scott Guynn and wife Linda of Charlotte, NC; three daughters, Debbie Gautier and husband Robert of Ripplemead, VA, Linda Guynn of Johnson City, TN, and Anna McQueen and husband Cameron of Erwin, TN; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV.
