Guynn, Mabel Thompson

Mabel Thompson Guynn, age 83, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at her home in Rich Creek, VA. Born October 31, 1934, in Monroe County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Rose Neal Thompson. Mabel was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rich Creek, VA. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Myron D. Guynn; two sons, M.D. Guynn, Jr. and wife Theresa of Rich Creek, VA, and Scott Guynn and wife Linda of Charlotte, NC; three daughters, Debbie Gautier and husband Robert of Ripplemead, VA, Linda Guynn of Johnson City, TN, and Anna McQueen and husband Cameron of Erwin, TN; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2018, at the Broyles Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Shirey officiating.
