Guthrie, Rose Marie

Rose Marie Guthrie, 49, of Christiansburg, Va., and Salem, Va., died on Wednesday, July 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon “Jack” Guthrie.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Gabriel Guthrie; fiance, Rick Johnson, both of Salem; mother, Sadie A. Guthrie, of Christiansburg; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Jackie Guthrie, Brenda Chumbley, Donna and Larry Rush, and Angie and Philip Beasley, all of Christiansburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2009, at Sunset Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Peters officiating. No public visitation will be held.
