Gusler, Shelbie Wiley

Shelbie Wiley Gusler, 69,of the White Gate Community, Pearisburg, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006 at the Lewis-Gale Medical Center, Salem, Va.

She was born March 8, 1937 at Pearisburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Blanche Miller Wiley, her husband John Derle Gusler and a daughter, Kimerley Britts.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Elora Wiley, Dublin, Mark and Rhonda Gusler, Pearisburg; three brothers, Harvey Wiley, Fredericksburg, Jimmy Wiley, Rich Creek, Larry Wiley, Narrows; one sister, Brenda Wheeler, Narrows; four grandchildren, Andrew and Molly Gusler, Matthew and Crystal Wiley; two great-grandchildren, Abel and Cyrus Wiley.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with the Rev. Jim Pickens officiating. Burial in the Walker’s Creek Cemetery, White Gate. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday after 2 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
