Grubb, Elizabeth V.

Elizabeth V. Grubb: May 02, 1916 – April 16, 2008. She was born May 2, 1916 in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late Hazel Quesenberry Via Kegley and Green Via.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Lewis “Doe” Grubb and a son, Darryl W. Grubb. Mrs. Grubb was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Pulaski.

She is survived by two daughters; Gail G. Mabry and her husband Daniel of Pulaski, and Diana G. Hughes and her husband Patrick of Springfield, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Robert Anthony Byrd, Patrick J. Hughes of Washington D.C., Christopher Brian Hughes and his wife Helen of Woodbridge, VA, Kimberly A. Hughes Lewis and her husband Russ of Livingston, Montana, and Mark Grubb of Roanoke, and five great-great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at SEAGLES. Visiting will be THURSDAY at SEAGLES from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Raymond Ratcliffe Museum “Brockmyer Train Fund” P.O. Box 1676 Pulaski, VA 24301.
