Grissom, Betty Lois

Betty Lois Grissom, 57, of Christiansburg, Va., died Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Christiansburg, Va. on January 9, 1953. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Edwin Grissom Sr.; two brothers, Donald and Jimmy Keister; and her father, Ranold Keister. She was loved by everyone in the community. She is survived by her sons, Matt Grissom, Timmy Grissom; daughter, Ginny Brookman, all of Christiansburg; mother, Virginia Keister, of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Haley and Ethan Brookman, Ashley and Josh Grissom; sisters, Bonnie Sarver, Jessie Dowdy, Carolyn Dunlap and Rose Keister; brothers, Howard (Peanut), Bobby and Ronald (Boo) Keister. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
