Grimes, Teresa Summers
Teresa Summers Grimes, 53, of Pulaski Virginia went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2022. Born on December 26, 1968 she was born with a smile that would light up the world.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Geneva Mae Duncan Summers, uncles; Raymond Summers, Jerry, Junior, Jimmy, Arite and Henry Duncan. Aunt Mary Ruth Dunagan. Great niece; Ava Grace Keffer and a nephew; Joseph Arite Spence.
Surviving Teresa is a husband of 37 years, Jackson Lee Grimes. Daughter; Teresa (Steven)E. Gyunn. Granddaughters; Ellen and Elizabeth Guynn. Grandson; Colton Guynn.
She is also survived by her loving father, William F. Summers and a sister, Janice M. Spence. A brother; William “pee-wee” Summers. Nieces; Jessica, Jennifer, Julie Spence. Great nieces; Chelsey Layla and Evelynn Keffer. Great nephews; Kenneth and Thomas Davis.
She had a good friend and sissy, Susan Lane and a special friend Kaye Smith.
Teresa absolutely loved, adored and cherished her fur babies; Half-Pint, Sheba, Lucy, Blackie, Angel, Butter Cup, Pennie, Lola and Monk-Monk. A grand fur baby; Jessie.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 12:30 in the chapel of Norris Stevens Funeral Home located at 815 Randolph Avenue in Pulaski. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 officiated by Pastor Randy Jarrells with interment at the Memorial Church Cemetery off of Old Baltimore Road in Draper.

Jack and immediate family, I’m truly sorry for your loss and our loss as well. I will keep Teresa in my heart and mind because she was a light to everyone she knew. She was always forgiving and forgetting because that was her nature. I’m going to miss her and I am sure there will be other’s that will be missing her too.
