Grimes, Dudley Buford

Dudley Buford Grimes, 81, of Dublin, died early Thursday morning, October 26, 2006, in the Pulaski Rehabilitation Center.

Born November 25, 1924, he was the son of the late James Garfield Grimes and Effie Thomas Grimes of Pulaski. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the 36th Infantry Division.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Ailene Nelson and Reedy Ann Grimes.

He is survived by his wife, Faye B. Grimes of Dublin; two sisters, Ruby G. Worrell and Sadie G. Freeman, both of Pulaski.; three nieces and two nephews.

There will be a graveside service held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Highland Memory Gardens with the Rev. Scott Scheltzer of the Dublin Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Arrangements by Mullins Funeral Home and Crematory in Radford
