Gregory, Lacy S.

Lacy Shoemaker Gregory, 78, of Christiansburg, died Friday November 30, 2007. She retired from C&P Telephone Co. after 20 years of service and was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cleve E. Gregory. Surviving are her devoted children, son Lee Gregory and wife, Susan Holder, of Rockville, Md.; daughter Eva Denton of Mooresburg, Tenn., and daughter Ginger Gregory and fiance Buddy Hobgood of Christiansburg, Va.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Service Chapel with Chaplain Thomas E. Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem, Va.

The family will receive friends Sunday December 2, 2007 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home.
