Gregory, Ellen Dianne

Ellen (Ellie) Dianne Gregory, 33, of Christiansburg, Va., died on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. She was born March 19, 1976 in Radford, Va. and graduated from Auburn High School in 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Gregory. Ellie is survived by her daughter, Miranda Gregory; siblings, Lisa Healey and husband, Brian McDaniel, Brian Healey, Amy Healey Hurst, Lorrie Bishop Canada and husband, Scott, Sarah Hancock and husband, Kenny, and Christy Bishop and husband, Todd; parents, Pat and Danny Bishop, and, Ray and Phyllis Healey; grandmother, Clara Saunders; mother-in-law, Sylvia Gregory; 12 nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 1, 2010, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with the Rev. Justin Quessenberry officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Christian Church Cemetery in Draper, Va. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2010, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The family requests that memorial contributions to assist with funeral expenses be made to the family or at the funeral home.
