Anthony Wayne Greenawalt, age 60, of Christiansburg, died, Friday, March 20, 2020. He was born in Arlington, VA on January 11, 1960. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Link Via.
Tony was retired from the Army after 20 years, and had been employed by Pepsi for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Greenawalt; children, Jade Greenawalt and fiance, C.J. Cromer, Anthony Jacob Greenawalt and fiancee, Bryanna Love, Amber Neuse and husband, Joshua, Jeffrey Meredith and wife, Kate; father, Wayne Via; grandchildren, Jackson Parker, Gavin Neuse, Madelyn Neuse, Grayson Neuse, Olivia Meredith; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha Norman and husband, Mark, Jean Greenawalt Cruey and husband, Randy; brothers and sister-in-law, Rodney Godbey, Carl Godbey and wife, Audrey, Carlyle Greenawalt; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Brenda and Gene Butler; sisters-in-law, Teresa Paris, Kim Sheets; special nephews, Joseph Greenawalt, Jonathan Sallee; special niece, Jennifer Sallee; several other nieces and nephews as well as honors to his military and Pepsi family.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.

The best soldier and friend I ever had the great fortune to get to know. He was truly the best all around person I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Love you Pal. You will always be in my heart and memories. Always my Brother.
