Green, Peggy McCutcheon

Peggy McCutcheon Green, 67, of Pulaski, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 after a short, but hard fought battle with cancer.

Peggy lived for her family. She was the happiest when surrounded by loved ones for holidays, birthdays, reunions, or weekend visits.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ronnie Green; her daughter, Heather (William) Russell; son, Bryce Green; grandson, Asher Russell; sister, Patsy Burgess; brother, Thomas (Kathleen) McCutcheon; aunt, Shirley (Raymond) Johnson; aunt, Belle (Ralph) Thomas; uncle, Robert McCutcheon; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and loved friends. Peggy asked to please send a donation to the Shawsville Middle School in lieu of flowers.

A funeral service will be held at Simpson Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2018 with the Rev. Walter Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday December 30, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.simpsonfuneral.com.
