Graybill, Alice Woolridge
Alice Jane Graybill, 62, of Newport, VA, departed this life Tuesday morning, April 21, 2020 with her family near and in the care of Hospice. Born September 5, 1957 in Roanoke, VA she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Lou Dollermon Woolridge.
Alice was a caretaker of all she would meet and enjoyed a career in the restaurant industry. She was proud to have been raised in the Jeters Chapel Church of the Brethren in Stewartsville, VA.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, George Woolridge, and David Woolridge; sisters, Emma Jean Miller, and Bonnie Hatcher, and several infant siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Graybill of Newport, VA, her daughter Katryn Reel Myers and son-in-law, Clark Myers; a granddaughter, Jacy Myers, and a step granddaughter, Alisa Myers; her “other children”, David Vanlew Jr and his family, Naicole, Damien, and Jaley; and Deidra Webb and her children, Michael, Branden and Dixie, who she want to ensures they know “Mama Loves You”; brothers, Harry Woolridge of Bedford, and Robert Woolridge “Buck” of Roanoke; sisters, Margaret Miller of Bedford, Mamie Vanlew of Stewartsville, Nancy Dickerson of Roanoke, Sally Belcher of Roanoke, and Connie Collins of Pembroke, as well as several nieces and nephews.
