GRAY, Malcolm Harvey Sr.

Malcolm Harvey Gray, Sr., 93, of 4582 Miller Lane, Pulaski, Va. died Wednesday afternoon, August 9, 2006 in the Pulaski Community Hospital.

He was born in Wythe County on November 3, 1912 and was the son of the late Charles Nicholas Gray and Nora Rachel Blevins Gray.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Loraine Coeburn Gray and by children, Norma Jean Aldridge, Mitchell Gray and Albert Dewey Hendrick; brothers, Jessie Lee Gray, Edgar Ray Gray, and Edward Dewey Gray; and by sisters, Minnie Bell Gray and Thelma Kathleen Meake.

Mr. Gray was a retired employee of RAAP having 33 years of service.

Surviving are daughters, Juanita Gail Buck, Rural Retreat, Marion Sue Akers, Dublin; son, Malcolm Gray, Jr., Pulaski; sisters, Ethel Jane Crockett, Rural Retreat, Virginia Elizabeth Lindamood, Cleveland, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Friday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
