GRAY, Janie Alls

Janie Alls Gray, 67, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Montgomery County on March 17, 1939 to the late James Harry and Mary M. Sarver Alls. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. (Crockett) Gray, and also a brother, Harry Alls.

She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Glenda G. and Dale Lucas of Newport, Rosie G. Alderman of Christiansburg; two sons and daughter-in-law, Crockett Gray, Jr., Charles and Wanda Gray all of Blacksburg; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Dr. Kirstein and the staff in the ICU at Montgomery Regional Hospital and Blacksburg Rescue Squad.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewey O. Weaver, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200 Progress Street, NE, Blacksburg, Va., 24060.

Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Monday and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, Blacksburg.
