amem_hydrangea.jpgAnnie Marie Jarrells Gravley, 79, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday March 26, 2016, in the Pulaski Health and Rehab. She was born in Hiwassee, February 8, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Katie Tolbert Jarrells. She worked at the former Jefferson Mills.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Avalon Gravley, I; and a brother, Clarence Jarrells.

Surviving are her sons, Rodney Gravley, II, Tim Gravley, Tony and Rebecca Gravley, Bobby Gravley; sisters and husbands, Beatrice and Lloyd Ayers, Betty and John Mills, Mary and Billy Crawford, Shirley and Richard Branscome; sister-in-law, Edith Jarrells; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 30, 2016, at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herman Sarver and the Rev. Teresa Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, March 29, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski. Flowers will be appreciated but those that choose, the Family wishes gifts be sent in Annie’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association 2728 Colonial Ave. Roanoke, VA 24015.
