Graves, Gary Willard

Gary Willard Graves, 58, of Blacksburg, Virginia, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017.

Gary enjoyed camping and fishing. He had a green thumb and a knack for tinkering with and fixing things. He especially loved children and animals and had a special ability to make people smile.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Clinton Graves and Ina Mae Cromer Graves, both of Blacksburg. He is survived by his sister, Lisa Graves, brother, Brian Graves and wife Kimberly, nieces Carley and Leah Graves and Kendall Hurd, all from Blacksburg, and many aunts, cousins and special friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-3 pm Friday, September 15 at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg, Virginia, with service to follow at 3 pm. Pastors Tommy McDearis and Todd Millsaps will officiate and cousin, Rhonda Roberts of Vienna, Virginia, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New River Community Services, Humane Society of Montgomery County, American Diabetes Association or the organization of your choice.
