Graham, Henry Donald

Henry Donald (Don) Graham, 67, of Blacksburg, Va., passed on to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 21, 2010. He was born on September 20, 1942, in Blacksburg, Va.

Don was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Newport Masonic Lodge #261, Giles Shrine Club, Misfits Clown Unit and the Eastern Star.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Wade Campbell and Mattie Winters Graham; brothers, Jack Thomas and Wade C. Graham; and sister, Virginia G. Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Davis Graham, of Blacksburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald (Donnie) William Graham and wife, Heidi ,of Christiansburg, William (Bill) Nolan and wife, Janette, of Columbia, Miss., and James (Jamie) D. Nolan and wife, Tammy, of Claypool, Ind.; daughters and son-inlaw, Sherri G. Breeden and husband, Billy, and Sabrina G. Casey, all of Christiansburg; a brother, Robert (Bob) Graham, of Blacksburg; sisters, Mary G. Akers Kegley and husband, Gene, and June G. Sawyers Hamlin; eight grandchildren, Cole Forster and wife, Becky, Samantha Casey, Greg Forster, Chris Breeden, Alexis Songer, Katherine Nolan, Ryan Breeden, and Leah Nolan; longtime friend, Glen Bohr; the many members of Northstar Church who continued to support Don through his illness; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2010, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Noble officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Virginia Veterans Care Center, 4550 Shenandoah Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24017, Attn: Library Fund or to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 3825-A Electric Road, SW, Roanoke, Va. 24018.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time on Sunday at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg, Va.
