Graham, Edgar Oakley

Edgar Oakley Graham, 97, of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006. He was the son of the late Wister M. and Hattie Lane Graham. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dove Graham and a son, Lloyd Graham.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Dorothy Hollandsworth of Christiansburg, James and Doris Graham of Shawsville, Richard Graham of Christiansburg; ten grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Barbara Graham John of Salem; sister-in-law, Beulah Alley of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Burell Baker and Pastor Ed Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Den Hill Cemetery.
