Graham, Charles Raymond
Charles Raymond Graham, 58, of Hiwassee, Va., lost his eight and one half year battle to cancer, Monday, May 24, 2010, in the Montgomery Regional Hospital, Blacksburg. Born May 28, 1951, in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late John Claude Graham and Viola Hurst Graham. His sister, Shirley G. Reynolds also preceded him in death.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam era. He attended Grace Fellowship Baptist Church on Max Creek.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Charles Darren Graham and Charity Graham, Christiansburg, and his grandson to be born May 28, 2010, on his Granddad’s birthday, Grayson Liam Graham; daughter and son-in-law, Leah Graham Musick and Kirk Musick, Roanoke, and grandson, Baron Kirk Musick; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin C. and Sadie Graham, Dublin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy G. and Jimmy Bull, Etowah, Tenn., Brenda G. and Gather Blackburn, Dublin; numerous nieces and nephews; special dogs, Dillon and Lulu.
A Memorial Service will be conducted Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., at the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, Max Creek with Pastor Doug Ballew officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in his memory be sent to the Grace Fellowship Church, 2640 Max Creek Road, Hiwassee, Va. 24347.
