GOTZI, Rita Dishon

Rita Dell Dishon Gotzi, age 80 of Long Beach, Calif. and formerly Pulaski County (Snowville) passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2006 in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.

Born Nov. 18, 1925 in W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Harley French Dishon and Cordie Enna Walker Dishon. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Frank Gotzi, and three brothers, Ray Coulson Dishon, Gail Walker Dishon and Norris Lonnie Dishon. She was retired from California State University of Long Beach with 24 years of service in Admissions.

Surviving are: daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Kenneth Olson, Carbondale, Col.; two granddaughters, Kristin Annon, Kaitlyn Olson; grandson, Sander Olson; great grandson, Benjamin Annon; sisters, Ellen Maxine Pritchard, Cumming, Ga., Louise Wood, Dundalk, Md., Sherry Fillman, Westchester, Pa.; brothers, Harley Cramer Dishon, Baltimore, Md., Roger Kent Dishon, Baltimore, Md.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 11 a.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Steve Dishon officiating. Interment will follow in the Dishon Cemetery, (Snowville Community), Pulaski County, Va. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the family.
