Gossett, Mable Burnett

Mable Burnett Gossett, 90, of Radford, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 in Radford Rehabilitation Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil H. Gossett; her parents, Richard and Addie Burnett; a sister, Sara Burnett Taylor; and a nephew, R.L. Taylor.

Mrs. Gossett moved to Radford in 1975 from Cedar Hill, Tenn., and was a member of the Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Jim Morris, Radford; her grandsons and their families, Andrew and Beth Morris and children, Evelyn Ann and Matthew of Katy, Texas, Anthony and Jennifer Morris and children, Kellan and Rosie, Ashland, Va. and Geoffrey and Autumn Morris of Cincinnati, Ohio; a niece, Thelia Taylor Raines, Springfield, Tenn.; and two nephews, H. Richard Miller, Atlanta, Ga. and John R. Gossett, Kingsport, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with Dr. Paul Lane officiating. Another service and interment will be held Friday in Springfield, Tenn. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the DeVilbiss Funeral home, Radford.
