Bonnie C. Goff, 80, of Check, the beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, was called home by her Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 8, 2006.

She was born in Floyd County on December 13, 1925 to the late Waller and Arminda E. Conner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Goff; her son, Sheldon Goff; her sisters, Mary Reed Perdue, Ida Link, Bertha Hall, Rachel Conner, Ora Conner, Vera Conner; and her brothers, Raymond Conner and Alfred Conner.

Her son, M. Wayne Goff and his wife, Reba of Check, survive Bonnie; along with her sister, Ruby King of Salem; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Goff of Salem. Bonnie was a loving grandmother to Lorrie Goff, Johnson City, Tenn., Wesley Goff and wife, Amy, Check, Stacy Goff and wife, Jennifer, Check, and Kristin Goff, Blacksburg. She is survived by six great-grandchildren, Tempry Goff, Jordan Goff, Bethany Goff, Leah Goff, Kyra Goff and Davis Goff; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Haven’s Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dan Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Huffville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd. Flowers will be appreciated or you may make a donation to the charity of your choice in Mrs. Goff’s name.
