Martin Quiller Goad, of Roanoke, formerly of Nitro, WV and Hillsville, VA, passed away January 7, 2024. He was born in Baltimore, MD, to the late Guy Goad and Eleanor Goetz Goad.

Martin is survived by his son Bradley Goad (Robert Bugg); grandchild, Deseray Bugg; great-grandchildren, Chelsey Bugg, Cassidy Bugg, Caterina Bugg; brothers, Douglas God (Joan), Kenneth Goad, Joe Goetz (Helen); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Martin had a passion for cooking and was always in the kitchen. He was an avid flea market patron and thrift store hunter. He was a scout leader for 12 years with his son. Martin loved to travel and be on the go. He loved to joke and play with his granddaughters. He also loved to go to Aunt Beas to eat breakfast with friends. Martin was the constant jokester always wanting to get someone with jokes or picking on them.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. at 4948 Daniels Run Road, NE, Pilot VA 24138.
