Margaretta Umbarger Doyle Goad, 101 of Pulaski died Sunday Morning in the Pulaski Health & Rehab. Margaretta was a beautiful woman and had a beautiful soul. Born February 2nd in 1921 to Ellis Umbarger and Neta Harden Umbarger. She was born in Smyth County, Virginia.

She was preceded by her husband Arthur Lee Umbarger and a son; Wallace Doyle and a grandson; Allen Doyle as well as two great grandchildren; Brandon Scott and Shane Arnold.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters; Linda White and Janice Anderson, both of whom live in Pulaski. Margaretta also had 3 surviving sons; Dennis B Doyle of Draper, Gary Wayne Doyle of Dublin and Terry A Doyle of Pulaski.

She had three sisters that she loved very much; Ila Shapiro of South Carolina, Debbie Allred of North Carolina and Judy Alford of Christiansburg Virginia. 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 2:00 in the afternoon in Oakwood Cemetery. Procession will begin in the parking lot of Norris Stevens Funeral Home at 1:30.
