He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and camping on the river. Preceded in death by father, Billy “Bill” Nelson Goad. Survived by mother, Annie Hale Goad Slaughter; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Audrey Goad, Ricky and Kerry Goad, William and Connie Goad; nieces and nephews, Frances and husband, David Brown, Julie Goad, Brianna Goad, Jayden Goad, Shawn Shearing, Dustin Shearing; aunts and uncles, Effie and Cecil Montgomery, Jessie and Rose Goad, Beulah Goad, Marie Guynn, Dorothy Goad, Edgar and Vannie Sue Hale, Larry Wayne and Brenda Hale, Carlis Hale. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Maberry Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Laurel Branch Cemetery.
