Goad, Judy Lynn Hurst

Judy Lynn Hurst Goad, age 65 of Hiwassee passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at her home. Born December 29, 1947 in Pulaski County, she is the daughter of Gertrude Smith Shelton and the late Oscar Hurst. She attended the Hiwassee Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by Son and Daughter-in-law- Timothy and Melissa Hurst-Hiwassee, Daughter- Kimberly Goad-Hiwassee, Granddaughter- Alexis Hurst, Mother- Gertrude Smith Shelton, Brother and Sister-in-law- Dale and Nancy Hurst- Claytor Lake, Sisters and Brothers-in-law- Joyce and Richard Kemp- Hiwassee, Jerry Lou Horton- Hillsville, Penny and John Bruce- Milton, TN, Melissa and Thomas Thompson- New River, Nieces and Nephews, Special Pets- Hannah and Miss Priss. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2:00 p.m., November 13, 2013 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Don Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Hurst Family Cemetery, Hiwassee The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
