Delpha Gay Goad, 91, of Floyd Co. and Meadows of Dan, Va., passed away Saturday November 8, 2008. She was preceded in death by her father, James Goad, mother, Iowa Jane Moles Goad, brothers, Dennis Goad, Lerty Goad, sisters, Tressie Burnett, Lola Agee, Nellie Goad. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Iowa Goad and Charles E. Pearson. Graveside service will be held Tuesday November 11, 2008 at the Goad Family Cemetery officiated by the Rev. S.
