Givens, Harold Lee

Harold Lee Givens, 82 of Pulaski, Virginia departed this life December 17, 2022 at his home. Born in Maggie, VA on March 5, 1940, Harold was a son of the late Harry and Grace Whittaker Givens.

Harold served with the Ground Observer Corporation, RAAP, and was an honorary member of the Narrows Fire Department.

In addition to his parents Harold is preceded in death by a grandson, Gary Clark Holstein III; a granddaughter, Carleigh Wells; and sister, Linda Lou Dunbar.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are sons, Alvin Givens (Sheila) of Narrows, and Jason Givens (Karen) of Narrows; daughters, Hadassah Simmons of Pearisburg, and Crystal Wells (Timmy Williams) of Narrows, VA; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jo Ann Kirk of North Carolina, and June Diehl (Don) of Goshen, Ohio; and an exceptionally good friend, Betty Mahaffey.

There will be a funeral service conducted for Harold on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Funeral services will conclude in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, VA. Family will receive friends in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.
